First question was, do you have holiday traditions? And 82% people said yes. 18% said. Welcome to the pod. Welcome to the pod. Episode five. Mm-hmm. And it is a holiday episode. Yeah, the holiday edition. How are you feeling, my friend? Any life updates for me? I do have a life update. Oh, okay. Let's hear. I'm really excited, actually. Okay, let's hear it. Remember the hair clips? Did you find the, where were they at? They were literally in the bag that I take to Corey's. Oh, they were in the bag. I asked you. I think if you check there, so. Maybe not. Maybe not, but I don't think so. I was just, I was about to do my hair. Mm-hmm. and I couldn't find, um, all of my stuff that I had packed to do it at his house. Uhhuh, And I just so happened to find it. Wow. Wait, that's amazing. I know. I'm so proud of you. So that's my life at bay. Do I have any life update? No, I'm taking my grandpa to see Christmas lights this Saturday. That is the cutest thing. Yeah, he's very excited. I'm very excited too. So taking him on Saturday, that's like the first Christmas thing I've done. Yeah, I haven't, have you seen lights or anything? No. Me neither. I wanna go ice skating. Haven't done it. But I mean, I also, just in general, um, ever since I've gotten older, I struggle with the holidays. No, me too. Yeah. Okay. So we've got a couple polls. Yeah. And I'm gonna shout them, shout them off before we dive into our holiday. Yeah. Um, okay. First question was, do you have holiday traditions? And 82% people said yes. 18% said. That's really, I don't actually think I have actually any traditions either. So not necessarily. Yeah. Um, when I was younger, I felt like I used to, but not now. Yeah, no, same. Yeah. Um, a hundred percent of people said their favorite holiday spice was cinnamon. That's a given. What was it? Cinnamon and or ginger. Cinnamon or ginger, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Um, which gift? Naughty or nice? Uh, 7% said naughty. 93% said. Nice. You guys, I'm a nice, I'm scared to be on the naughty list. Bye. what would you. I'd probably do. Nice. I've gotten coal for Christmas before. Like legit? No, you have not. Yeah. On like one of those like dirty Santa gifts or? No. My parents literally gave me coal for Christmas one year. Well, were you bad No, they were just being how they are legit. Was coal in like a red gift box? Like a little Oh box. My gosh. When I told you, did you cry? I was pissed. Yeah. I was pissed then. Did you get something else? They thought it was so funny. I think I did get some stuff after. I'm traumatized, honestly. Honestly. I was like, hmm, I like hope. I got some stuff. I was like 12. Wow. Yeah. Um, holiday music, 86% of people said love it. 14% said hate it. I think the people that said they hate it probably work in retail or some kind of like store that constantly plays it. I was about to say working in retail during the holiday season will make you hate. all that. It'll make you, it'll ruin a lot of music for you. It'll ruin a a lot. They can only change the playlist so many times. Exactly. Maybe, I mean, did they ever change? I don't think they ever changed the playlist when we worked. No, they never did. Like they changed it from like regular to holiday, but they never changed. The songs never changed. It was a literal loop. No, we knew what songs were coming up. Yep. That's ridiculous. It was torture. Um, holiday movies, 92% said love. Old school ones 8% said love the newer ones. I have to go with old school. Yeah. Like home alone. And did you watch the new Lindsay Lohan one? No, I haven't watched it. Did you like it? It's not good. No. You don't like it? No. I also didn't pay much. I the Santa Claus, uh, movies a lot. Me too. There's a new one. Did you watch it? No. Me neither. We're so bad at that. I know. I like the home alone. I like the Santa Claus ones. Me too. There's, have you ever watched this one movie called The Guardian? Mm-hmm. It's so good. Is that one like Disney, Disney Plus or something? I. I'm not sure, but the Guardian is so good. Really? Yes. It's like Christmasy. Yeah. Like it's got all the like, um, like it's got Santa in it. Aw. Um. It has like the tooth fairy. It's like all of the, I don't know what, what, what is, what is that called? Like, oh, all of like the, like mystic creatures kind of, I guess. Kind of, yeah. And like saving like all of them. Mm-hmm. like the Guardian, like protects, like basically innocence and stuff like that. I love it. I have a question. What, when did you figure out that. if you have any kids, tell'em to leave. Um, when did you figure out Santa was not real? Oh, I think I was pretty young, but I was playing, mine was embarrassingly old, but I was playing into the fantasy. Like I, I didn't care. And you had a younger sister, so did you have to like keep that up for her? Yeah, like later on. Yeah. Yeah. Which she technically like. I don't know if she still actually does believe, but I mean she acts like it, which I'm like pop off sis cuz same, I acted like acts like it as much as long as you can. I think I was like 12 or 13 when you like, like you legit did like thought he was real. Yes. Are you serious? I'm so naive and not me being like seven years old. And I was like, like this guy's fake. But honestly, I. I love this fantasy. I honestly did. Were you the same way with like the tooth fair and stuff? Um, I think that she very figured it out a little more except my mom was the type of person that like made my brother write a note from the tooth fairy. So like she really played into it because she knew I would know her handwriting, but I didn't know my brothers as well. Wow. So, they've really popped off for me. You know what really made me start to question like, is, is Santa real Uhhuh What is, um, so when I was younger, me and my mom would stay the night at my grandparents' house, Christmas Eve, even spending Christmas morning with them. Mm-hmm. And the year I got like my, I never had a Barbie Dream house, but I got a Barbie town, like a big, like townhouse. Oh, those were so cool. Yes. I loved it. I was a big Barbie girl growing up, and my grandpa he put the dollhouse on the, like right outside of the back door of the house and they were like, oh, go check, back there, and I opened it and it was just there. And for some reason in my brain I was like, girl, your grandpa put that out there. But I just, I don't know, it never was like a devastating thing for me to discover. Yeah, I was just, It's literally f I just always have been like, it's fine. I'm just gonna play into it. Yeah. Yeah. I, um, I think it's cool. I love it. I do too. I love, I love it. Mm-hmm. Um, I was listening to a podcast and I guess there's like a new thing with parenting. Like some parents are very anti, like lying to your kids. Oh my gosh. Like, they're not gonna trust you. And I was just like, it's literally not, that's definitely like, yeah, you might, like, some people might be upset for literally a, And then you're getting over it. Yeah. Like it's fine. I don't even, there's deeper things that we can, yeah. I don't even remember being upset about it, but like I did believe for a long time. how, like how did you come into that? How did, how did you realize? I don't remember, but I just remember it in 11th grade being like, or not 11th grade. Being 11th. Could you imagine I'm a senior? I'm like, I still believe. No, I just remember being 11 and being. No guys there is this I was that girl. Like that annoying girl. I love that. You would've hated me. probably annoyed. No, because you would've made me cry. Cuz you would've been like, no, there's not. No, I wouldn't. I promise you. If I would've realized, like, okay. She really believes, I probably would've just been the one like, let it go. You would've, yeah. You, yeah. Oh, you would stand up, like let it go. It's. Yeah, you would've, you would've let me play put to say into it. Yeah. Because honey, my life is a fantasy. Remember, you were the main character. Don't never, I was about to say, honestly, there's gotta be some people that were so annoyed with me back in the day. You probably, but anyway, I wouldn't have. Um, it says, which are you traditional Christmas or new traditions? 62% Tra said traditional and 38% said new. What did you pick? I think I picked new. Me too. Really? I wanna make new traditions so bad. I do too. Yeah. I'm like, hmm, that's not gonna happen for me this year. But I mean, maybe taking my grandpa to see Christmas lights. Yeah. That could be something new. but I was surprised with how many people said they do have holiday traditions. How many mm-hmm. want to make new traditions. Yeah. Do you know what I'm realizing this year though? Mm-hmm. and maybe we can talk about it night on next week's. Mm-hmm. But the holidays are a lot harder for people than than you ever realized. And I think the holidays just have so much pressure around them. They do. And then when you don't feel happy a hundred percent of the time you feel guilty. Yeah. You know? And you just feel like. I know for me, I can speak on my experience. Mm-hmm. like just between getting older and then experience grief. Yeah. Through the holiday season. Um, and then again, just getting older. Cause I know my mom, I think it was my mom that said, sometimes, you know, it can be really hard mm-hmm. during the holidays and sometimes when people have kids it kind of reignites like. their holiday spirit. Oh, I love that. Yeah. I think speaking what you said about grief, I've, I've almost kind of felt relieved this holiday season. Mm-hmm. because I'm like, okay, I don't have to like put on a front or like, I don't have to be happy a hundred percent this holiday season. Mm-hmm. and it's kind of like been relieving. Yeah. Because all the other past years I've been like, the holiday season is over, and I'm like, that's it. Yeah. Like, okay, I know. And then you just move on. Mm-hmm. But like this time I'm like, wait, I'm actually excited to like, spend time with people. I'm actually more excited to give gifts than to receive this year. Yeah. And which, that's a whole thing. I have a really interesting perspective on gift giving, but like, what do you, do you have any like thoughts on gift giving? Just so in the past I've loved to receive mm-hmm. honestly. Mm-hmm. and I think it's because. My ex's family was really big gift givers. Mm-hmm. But it, it almost became kind of overwhelming, like how much you would get on Christmas, you know what I mean? Mm-hmm. like that's kind of an overwhelming thing. Like it was over stimulating kind of. Um, and just like from, you know, friends, family, whoever may be. So I feel like this year I've been really intentional and kind of like selective about who I'm giving gifts to. Yeah. And I've just been kind of excited. like buy gifts and gift give this year. but that's, I don't really have like a hot take or like a personal take. But what's yours? So my whole thing with gifts is we're adults, right? Mm-hmm. Um, for me it's very difficult when people ask me like, what do you want? You know, because I usually get what I want for myself. Exactly. And, um, when I think of something that I want and people say No, like something I can actually get you. Like, no. And I'm like, no, I just told you. And then they end up giving me something that. Has nothing. It's not what I said. It's not any of that. It, it's just gonna sit in my room and not get used. Mm-hmm. And it drives me nuts. Yeah. It drives me absolutely nuts. We need to be more diligent about like, if you ask someone what they want, that is opening the door. For you to listen and receive what they're saying and like, okay, this is what they said. Okay. So you're saying that anytime you've told people in the past like, this is what I want, they'd like go off the rail and get you something completely different? Some people, yeah. Yeah. And it drives me nuts. Yeah. Or if I'm like, can you just gimme money? Yeah. Like, literally, it doesn't even matter. Just it like, okay. Mm-hmm. like, gimme money or, um, like practical gifts, things you. Yes. Those are still gifts. Yes., I'm getting my car detailed for Christmas, but Yeah, exactly. Like stuff like that. Like that's literally what I, I love that. Yes. I, that's kind of what I, I was talking about when I said like overstimulated. Yes, because it's like, Okay, I got this and this and this, and it does kind of sit there. Mm-hmm. like, I remember mine would sit there and some stuff I have even a year later and I'm like, wow. Like even just, you know, lotions or whatever it may be. And I'm like, I have not gone through all this. Like, exactly. It's just a lot. And then it's kind of just, you know, you like move on to the next thing. Mm-hmm. you're like, oh, this new lotion for, I'm using lotion as an example. Yeah. But gimme anything. Yeah. It's like, oh, this new fragrance is out, or this new thing is out. And the old. gone. Yes. You know, and the new is in. But I told Lauren, I said, listen, this podcast is our gift to each Literally. No, literally. But I also. I wanna do more experiences with people. Well, and that's my thing too. So again, like being overstimulated mm-hmm. And having a bunch of stuff Yeah. Is not the vibe for me anymore. It gets old quick. I don't like that. And so it kind of bleed into the new traditions thing. I wanna, I would love to have an experience. I would love to have an experience. Like if you and I do something, I'd rather us go do something. You know what I mean? Like if, if you and I like, to each other. I'd rather us be like, Hey, let's put, let's both put 25 bucks and go do this. Or like whatever. Yeah. Yeah. And so, I don't know. I don't like to talk about it too much cause I don't wanna seem like a grump, but I'm kind of like, yeah. The gift thing, it drives me insane and I hope that like if and when I have kids mm-hmm. that their experience, I want it to be more of like, we're going on vacation or you know, this is going towards. Something like that. I'll physically get, like get them some material things. Yeah. But like, well, I feel like you can get them, get it from Santa. Exactly. But then yeah, for, from you it's like, Hey, yeah. I'm taking you here. Exactly. Or whatever, maybe. No, I think that's great. I, I am also, I mean, I'm really this year leaning into less materialistic things and more friend and family time and. just doing stuff like, I would never beforehand take my grandpa to see lights. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like things like that. Like I would never, you know, and now I'm like trying to intentionally do things I've never done before. That's really nice when I'm like, that's so cute. Oh, I love that. Thank you. Yeah, it's gonna be like a little moment. So, so cute. I know. I'm excited. I'll buy him some hot cocoa Yeah. So do you have any like holiday plans already? Do you know what you're gonna do? Yes. So 23rd, I'm spending it with my dad's side. Mm-hmm. of the family. The 24th I'm spending it with my brother and sister-in-law. Mm-hmm. and the 25th, I imagine I'm spending it with my mom's side. Okay. Just like immediate family. So you're gonna be. Yeah. And then 26th I'll probably stay there and then come back here. Do you know what my therapist said today? What she said to do a spa day here? So I might just treat myself to like a spa day when I get back, might as well. And do like a whole, like one of those, like package deals. Mm-hmm. Um, it'll be cheaper than going somewhere. That's true. And then we can just, we can travel next year. Yeah. We're gonna be gone all the time. I hope. That's my hope. I hope we're at the pool all the time. Yeah. I'm just wanting warmer weather. I'm already sick and tired of this cold weather, and it's not even cold yet. Like it, it'll happen for me. January is, no, that's what I'm saying. January. Normally that happens for me, like I'm itching to go somewhere warm. It's, it's now and it's bad. Really like the, it is. It hasn't even been that cold out either. I know there's been no snow. Normally there's a snowstorm or like an ice storm in like October, November hasn't happened this year to get snow at least, which is like, if we don't, that's totally fine. Wait, when? I don't know. Like soon I thought, oh shit. Maybe I'm just like making this up. I literally thought that that's, no, it's supposed to get like freezing next week. that's don't like extreme weather regardless. It literally doesn't matter. I don't like it when it's 90 to a hundred degrees. Oh, I do. And I don't like it when it's freezing. I like a good 60 to like 80 degrees. 80, 85. Uh, is a beautiful weather. 90 As long as I'm buy some water, like ocean water. I don't like, I don't know. I like ocean. Like the ocean a lot. Yeah, me too. So that's a warm my bag, which is why we're going to TUM next year. I know. I'm so. Well, maybe Tulum, I don't know. Just, we're gonna be in Mexico, regardless. I don't care where, yeah, I'm I will be there. Yeah, we're working that out right now, I would say. Yeah. Is there anything that you miss traditions wise? Wait, friend, I totally cut you off. What are you doing for Christmas? Oh, oh yeah, so this year for our Christmas, it's actually pretty low key really. We usually have a Christmas Eve party. Mm. And then Christmas, like an actual Christmas Eve part or like who all comes to that? It's my family. Oh, okay. Yeah. That's fun. Yeah. Oh, so it's not just like immediate family, like, it's like kind of everybody. Um, yeah, basically, um, this year we're not doing it just cuz a lot of people are getting sick. Yeah. so it's getting around bad. but it's gonna be really low key this year and I'm really okay with it cuz I have a lot of anxiety about a lot of people being in the house. Hmm. Yeah. I hate that so much. But yeah, you've always kind of hated that, huh? Well, yeah. And just because, um, I get over Stimula. I do too. Yeah. So, um, yeah, it's gonna be really low key this year, but that's nice. I'm kind of like, it doesn't bother me. Mm-hmm. at all? No. I kind of am loving the peace vibes, like I want to be relaxed over Christmas break. I feel like the past couple Christmas breaks have been so go, go, go. Mm-hmm. I just wanna vibe. Yeah. I wanna read a book and chill. Literally. Literally. Just sit down, finish a book in like a day. Mm-hmm. drink some coffee, some tea. Okay. So, um, do you have a dream holiday vacation that you can think of or already have in mind? There are two things to this, right? Mm-hmm. because on one hand I'm like, I would love to spend it somewhere warm. Mm-hmm. like Australia, Greece. I don't know if Greece is warm this time, to be honest, but somewhere by water. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like Mexico. Somewhere where you're not really set like you're celebrating, but it's not the traditional Yeah. What we know. Yeah. In the us. But then part of me is like a fun cabin where it's snowy, but you don't go ski or snowboard. Like I don't wanna do that. I wanna sit in the cabin the entire time, read a book, be by a fire, sleep, eat, repeat. Mm. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Like, so two complete different vibes. I don't have like a specific location. No, I think like Breckenridge, Colorado would be really fun. Um, like a ski trip kind of vibe. Yes. But no skiing. But no skiing. I don't like skiing. I do wanna try and snowboard. I don't know how I feel about cold weather sports in general. So I don't know, but I would be very open. I love that. Oh, be open to it. Have you done it before? No. Yeah, I had one bad experience skiing and I've never been back. Oh, Oh, no. Trauma. Okay. Well I don't wanna do that. That's scary. Um, Yeah. What about you? Do you have a specific like location? I think, I think this is where it, well, I feel like there's several places where they have like a Christmas village looking like place, but like, oh yes. Like I think Switzerland, I've seen videos. Of like, that would be beautiful. It's beautiful. Just like go to the North Pole I mean, yeah. Or do it up Christmas big time. Like okay. Yeah. I love that Christmas Village vibe or, um, like small town. Yeah. Like decked out. Yeah. Like it's giving hallmark. It's giving homework. Would you wanna go to New York for Christmas time? Hell yeah. I would too. That's, that was my other one. Like in New York. I would too. Absolutely. Mm-hmm. I would give. Why did that not cross my mind? Because that's like a dream. I knew, I knew that it would cause I was like, I'm gonna say New York shouldn't be like, why didn't I just say that? Because we both have, we should make that our 2024 goal. That would be so to go during Christmas. Oh yes. Go like right after Christmas, but before New Year's. Mm-hmm. Yeah. We should do that. Yeah. If you're gonna hear on the podcast Yep. We're we're gonna make it happen. We're gonna make it happen 2024. Um, I don't know. I don't know if I would want to spend the holiday somewhere warm. I'm not entirely sure. I know I, that's why I kind of picked the two vibes because I think that would be cool. I hear a lot of people do it, but then I'm like, would I like that? I don't know. I just always like being by water, like you said. Yeah. So it's like, I wouldn't, I know I'd enjoy it, but I think something would feel a little off about it. Exactly. Mm-hmm. Like, I want it, I want it to be like snow. Yeah. But when I go home, there's no snow there. I want, it's giving hallmark for sure. It is giving Hallmark. I, I agree with that actually. I love that answer. Yeah. Ah-huh. So that's kind of what I'm thinking. I making that answer. Christmas a village vibes. Wait, I love that. My friend, that big fur coat walking around with my like big furry hat. That's the thing. Yes. I have no Christmas clothes. Like I have no winter. I just layer and I, I, well, I technically do have winter clothes. I've gotta go shopping. No, you don't. Not Is that just an excuse to go shopping now? You need to just start shopping for your warm weather stuff. No, I have too much of that. Okay. And very lit friend. We haven't even gotten to the coast part of the year. You want me to freeze Well, because that's gonna be really expensive when, because you're right, you're right. I'm just going off try and shop on like the whole season. Yes. Things are way cheaper when you. especially coats and stuff. Those things are so expensive. I know. And I'm super like, you don't have things to wear. I'm the perfect consumer because I don't think about things until I'm like, now I'm cold. So I'm like, I need winter clothes. And they're the most expensive. Uhhuh And then when it's hot, I'm like, I don't wanna buy a coat like I know. I wanna spend my money on things I want right now. Nope. Because when it starts to transition, cause you know how it is here. I know. I know. In Oklahoma. Mm-hmm. it'll be like, it's bad. Oh, this. You know it's summer, but, well, no. Summer's pretty consistent. More when it starts to cool. Whenever it gets a little like dicey one day it gets so dicey. 60 degrees. Like 80 in the like Yeah. 60 degrees in the morning, 80 in the afternoon. Mm-hmm. And then, and the next day it's freaking 50. You dropped like 20 degrees overnight. No, it's so dumb. Like guess what? Because you shopped ahead of time. You go in a closet and you're like, wow, I, you could teach me how to shop this year. Okay. I definitely, I'm still learning, but that thing, yes, I can definitely teach you that. I need help with that from him for sure. I'm constantly scrolling through different stuff, so I need. I got you. Um, I mean, is there anything that you're actually looking forward to? I feel like it would be going to see the lights with your grandpa. Yeah. Going to see the lights. Um, just honestly hanging out with my nephew more. That's so fun. Getting to like, see him and kind of like, I don't know, he's just so fun. Um, yeah, just hanging out with family in general. I feel like that's something I'm really, and I think. really making sure that I rest and relax for 2023. And also like goal setting, like I really wanna take the last week of the year to, um, put together like a vision board and I'd love to print it out and put it in a frame and hang it in my room. Mm-hmm. Um, and also just really. I don't wanna say like manifest, but just write down my goals, like make sure that it's doable. Um, I'm someone, I saw this the other day on Instagram, but I'm someone who will say like, I want. X instead of like really breaking it down and saying like, okay, well what do I need to do to get to this goal? Yeah. Like I'm someone who's just like, which I think that's kind of how we all set goals. Like, like being really specific. Yes. Like I want to start making specific like smart goals. And so that's something I really wanna do for the last week of 2022. Honestly, I'm just excited for 2023, but I think. Yeah, like holiday wise, just spending time with family, hopefully like resting, sleeping in, relaxing, eating good food. Like for some reason I thought I would have less this year cuz I wasn't married anymore. But for some reason I have more this year. What? Yeah, I have no idea. It's kind of crazy. Compared to Thanksgiving. I feel like my Christmas is definitely gonna be more just like chilled out though. Oh really? Yeah. I kind of love that though, like I do too. Instead of going from like this place to this place, to this place, like kind of being able to chill out. Same. I definitely think I'm just ready to get through to the new year. Yes. I think that's part of like why I'm feeling the way that I do. Yeah, same. Is there anything like specific that you have asked for this Christmas? Ooh. Okay, so. Getting my car detailed. That's a big one because she'd be looking bad, especially because moving, I pretty much lived down in my car for a very specific time. Yeah. Or a very small amount of time. So getting my car detailed. Um, I also asked for like loungewear sets. Mm-hmm. So I asked for like a loungewear set because I just live in those. Um, and so I asked for that. And then what else did I ask? Honestly, that's really it. Like I didn't ask for very much. I know one gift my mom got me, which is like a easy budget, um, friendly, like I think Crock Pot meals and so it gives you a grocery list for each week and meals. So that will be really fun. Nice. Um, but. I don't know. I didn't really ask for too much. I've kind of been honestly more focused this year on like what I'm giving people. Mm-hmm. So I feel like that's what I've been more like focused on. I'm really excited about getting my car detailed. Like that's honestly to me, adult. That's a, that's when you, that was gonna say, that's when you know you're an adult, but my car is just Cause I would love that too. It looks disgusting and I don't have mats like for. Seat, like for my floor mats. Floor mats. Yeah. And so it's just collecting just crumbs and dust and it's just nasty. And so I'm ready to get it. Like really, really deep cleaned. Oh, I did ask for a coloring book. Hmm. I did ask for that. Nice. Um, I just love to color not me asking for like gift cards. I love gift cards, especially an en cue gift card. Oh. Oh, that's a good gift. I love en Cue so much. That is a good gift. Like a en cue that has a drive-through. Oh, stop it. No, that's my weakness. It is like that's Christmas every time I go. Really? I might go after I leave here. That's beautiful. I have like$30 left on a gift card. That's beautiful right now. What all did you ask for besides gift cards? Anything like tangible or just gift cards? Uh, so I entered this raffle to win a pair of Crocs, like this ciso. Oh yeah. Collaboration with Crocs. I lost. Oh, love that for me. Love that. Um, and Corey let me put his card on it. So he was like, okay, like if you get it, then I'll just make sure I have the money. Like to get him. I lost Oh. And this girl, I follow one, two. And neither they, they were not my size. No. So that's out the, you know, it's not happening. They're not. Okay, so wait, stalking it. Oh, okay. So this was just to, it was literally a raffle because, so I guess the demand was so high. They were like, it's literally gonna be a raffle. Well, you, so the way that you signed up was like you put your. I think you did an email address and then a card on file, and they basically said like, if you get it, like you'll be notified and they're gonna automatically take the money. How much were they?$70. Oh, that's not bad at all. They're not bad at all. Mm-hmm. No, but I, it sucks that she's not like lost making, like pushing it out. Like, like restocking More of them? Yeah. I don't know. But it's like a special edition, I guess. Oh, so that's what I, one of the things I asked for, um, and then, I really want to get, like, I didn't ask for this, but if I get the Amazon gift card that I want, yeah. This is what I'm gonna buy with it. I really wanna start waxing myself, like my, um, underarms and stuff really? And my, uh, friend please. Yeah. Tell me how that goes. And you could just have your bags out. Yes. And like Coach has had a major rebrand and I'm loving what they're putting out right now. Really? Because I don't really like coach's stuff because it just has the C everywhere. Oh, go take a look. Is it so nice? I mean, I love it. I've never necessarily gone through anything where I hated it. Yeah. But like, I'm a Kate Spade gal. Oh, you like Kate Spade? Yeah. I like some of their stuff. I've always really liked Kate Spade. I thought they had really cute prints. Um, oh no, I'm a huge Mark Jacobs girlie Wow, friend. I'm too expensive for myself and I really want a Louis Vuitton duffel. Really. I know exactly where I would buy it from. I just have to save the money for it. Where would you buy it from? Um, I would buy it off of, what is it called? Thee or the real? Real. Well, and it's also sustainable, the sustain, sustainable, fashionable. Yeah. I'm really into that. So I really wanna lose. I'm trying to be better about that. I'm trying to honestly be very, very much better about I'm trying to be better about just. Minimalizing my closet. I wear the same five things. So why do I have 30 shirts? Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Like that was ridiculous. And also I'm trying to be better about switching things out because my closet is so small. Like switching winter to summer and summer to winter. It's hard though. Like our weather is not consistent enough. Literally switch it out. That's crazy. I have some like summer tops, um mm-hmm. But that's why I think it's good to just know how to layer your stuff if you know how to layer your stuff. Yeah. That's smart. I dunno. Then you. Like if you have like that on right now, you could throw over like a big coat on top of it. Hmm. Or like a, like, I don't know, something like that. Or like a vest. I love that. Yeah, you can do that. I love that. You're right. I need to get more stuff too layer I feel like we're kind of like chilled out. wanna say, me and Lauren are not negative about the holidays. we are not, we love the holidays. We love spending time with our family. But I think, yeah, I, I think that a lot of people can relate when they get older that it's just, first of all, it's not the same and your traditions and values and everything kind of change too. I think it kind of can become a very, um, can you really sort of form like, oh, what do I really wanna do? What is it that I really want? Yes. Do you know what I actually really wanna do? This Christmas Eve. What? I really wanna go and do a little, um, like Christmas Eve church service and do the little, you need the candlelight service. You talked about that. I wanna do that. Oh, you know what, I kinda do miss that. Like, um, when I was a kid it gives you wholesome vibes. Cause I was a very, like, so my grandpa's a pastor. Oh really? The gr my, my mom's dad. Okay. He's a pastor and so I kind of feel like I was a church, like a pastor's kid in a way. Mm-hmm. and like I would be in like the plays and say my little stuff. Like I kind of miss that. Yeah. Yeah. Because it's just, I mean, that's just being a kid, like that's just part of it. We're just older now. Yeah, different. It's true. Yeah. I feel like that's one thing I do want to do. I need to see like what time they are so that I can balance doing the things I need to do on Christmas Eve too. So we probably will go to church actually on. Really on Christmas actually know that I, Christmas day, cause Christmas day is on a Sunday. Oh my gosh. It is. Mm-hmm. So I Do you think that'll be, do you think, do you think it'll be poppin that day? Probably. Well, or do you think the churches will be off? Oh, I don't know. That's a good question. I told you how long, how long it's been since I've been at church. Cause I actually don't know. Can't remember. Well, I don't know if there's ever been a time in my life. Where Christmas has been on a Sunday. It probably has at some point, but I mean, probably we're probably like younger. I wonder like how much that rotates, like how the days are. I know. I don't know, but, Hmm. Christmas Eve is, I mean, I know that churches, that's like a really, really big day. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I would really like to do that again this year. I think it's by like, it depends. The church wants to do. I think so too. Yeah. I think some will probably be open. Some are like, I. Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah. Um, cool.
